The trailer for Rockstar Video games closely, mightily, impossibly anticipated sequel in its record-breaking sequence landed on YouTube Monday night, sooner than its beforehand revealed Tuesday morning launch. Grand Theft Auto VI trailer.
It is a mishap far smaller in scale than most leaks, however it’s notable for Rockstar, which usually lets out little or no about its video games past official trailers. GTA VI had almost an hour of early gameplay and testing footage leak out in early September 2022, following a community intrusion. A teen within the UK was arrested on expenses associated to the leak shortly after Rockstar confirmed its veracity. TikTok movies have additionally lately surfaced, with pc screens exhibiting off photographs of the sport’s setting, in keeping with The Verge.
The trailer, in lower than 90 seconds of solely pre-rendered, cutscene-style photographs, confirms a couple of issues urged by the leaked footage. The setting is as soon as once more Vice Metropolis, the sequence’ fictionalized Miami. The protagonists are certainly a Bonne-and-Clyde-type duo, which incorporates the primary feminine protagonist within the sequence. And Rockstar’s dim, satire-soaked view of American tradition, filtered by means of the lens of one among its most iconic cities, appears to be solely intact.
How that is dealt with within the narrative and aspect quests cannot be gleaned simply but. However there are plenty of bikinis, a person tangling with an alligator utilizing a pool skimmer, and Instagram/TikTok-style movies celebrating the sorts of issues that change into well-liked on these platforms.
In case you don’t have 90 seconds to spare or the fitting display for the job, permit me to supply a non-exhaustive record of issues within the trailer for you:
