Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 Extremely has already been rumored to modify to a flat display screen – a primary for the Extremely collection, however one thing we have already gotten used to for the non-Ultras.
Now we’ve extra information relating to the S24 Extremely’s display screen, coming from the often dependable Ice Universe. There’s some excellent news, and a few unhealthy information, so let’s begin with the previous.
The leakster says the S24 Extremely’s most / peak brightness might be above 2,200 nits. That is insanely vivid, it goes with out saying. For comparability’s sake, be aware that the S23 Extremely tops out at 1,750 nits peak brightness, and nobody has ever known as that one a dim show. So the S24 Extremely will change the brightness recreation when it arrives, if this pans out in fact.
Now let’s transfer on to the unhealthy information, which is properly described within the picture under. Based on Ice Universe, the S24 Extremely’s bezels might be about as huge because the Galaxy A54‘s, which is unquestionably not an excellent look. Not simply that, however they’ll solely be symmetrical in pairs, as you’ll be able to see – the left with the precise at 3.42mm and the highest with the underside at 3mm.
Why not have all of them the identical huge dimension a minimum of? Who is aware of. And it isn’t like it may’t be accomplished. Apple has confirmed time and time once more that it may (whereas utilizing Samsung-made panels, no much less), and extra lately Nothing has proven that full bezel symmetry is even achievable at a lot cheaper price factors, if you happen to really care about it.
However Samsung would not appear to, so that is allegedly what we’ll get. The S24 Extremely’s screen-to-body ratio is claimed to be a really disappointing 88%, which apparently is the bottom of a Samsung flagship machine for the reason that Galaxy S10 from 2019.
