Samsung Galaxy S24 to realize Instagram digicam shortcut on lock display screen

Samsung Galaxy S24 telephones may include an added shortcut for Instagram Digicam on the lock display screen. The function was revealed by Alessandro Paluzzi, a consumer on the social media X, the place they revealed a screenshot.

At present, solely system apps (with minor exceptions) are allowed on the lock display screen – music, climate, alarms, routines. The social media widget may be a part of One UI 6.1, as soon as it arrives alongside the Galaxy S24 sequence.

A pop-up is anticipated to seem when you open Instagram for the primary time. You may then want to present entry to the Instagram digicam, and there’s a center button with “Extra choices…”.
